Approaching from the South: From Standish, Michigan, take U.S. 23 north approximately 37 miles. The Northwoods Steakhouse is on your right, 1.8 miles from the intersection of M-55 and U.S. 23 in Tawas City.

Approaching from the West: take M-55 East to the end at U.S. 23, then East (left) on U.S. 23 1.8 miles to the Northwoods Steakhouse on your right.

Approaching from the North: take U.S. 23 South to the City Limits of East Tawas then continue approximately ¾ of a mile to the Northwoods Steakhouse on your left.

Approaching from the East: come around Tawas Point and park your boat at the East Tawas State Dock. Proceed along the bike path/sidewalk on U.S. 23 at a bearing of 77.4° for 8/10ths of a mile to Latitude 44° 16' 55.22" North, Longitude 88° 28' 31.87" West.
